A productized implementation service that helps accounting firms use AI in month-end close work without losing the evidence trail behind each conclusion.
Added Sep 1, 2026
Accounting firms can use AI to extract data, research issues, and draft close documentation, but a correct-looking answer is insufficient. Reviewers still need source evidence, documented reasoning, approvals, and clear human accountability, while generic accounting AI features do not appear suited to power-user workflows.
Deliver a fixed-scope implementation that maps one month-end close workflow, introduces controlled AI-assisted preparation, and creates standardized workpapers linking every conclusion to its source documents and reviewer approval. The operator configures templates, validation checks, exception handling, and human review procedures, then trains the firm's staff and monitors the first close cycle.
Accountants are already experimenting with AI and automating parts of production, but adoption is moving faster than firms' documentation and control practices. Existing workpaper expectations give firms a ready framework for introducing AI safely.

How I see AI use on the user side is if they can’t be detailed in creating a help desk ticket good luck using a LLM. Luckily where I work we don’t heavily use AI yet. Claude and ChatGPT is used mainly by IT and finance. Not sure why finance requires it. I’m honestly scared to ask. For IT it has manly replaced googling and to quickly debug scripts/code. We also use image/video gen with Comfyui. Here is where AI has been time consuming and frustrating. Nodes and workflows are constantly not working/breaking and it can take hours to days of troubleshooting and applying fix after fix until it works. Then when the workflow does work. The output wasn’t up to standard and isn’t usable. Add in top constant updates and new model releases that break workflows that work just a few days before. IMO it’s a nightmare.
I don't use an AI assistant at all, but in terms of my work or things that need to get done. I'll use AI sometimes for, give me the history of this stock. Give me this. Give me that. And put them together. But what's interesting about my field, which is finance, all the artificial intelligence sites, whether it's Claude, Perplexity, all of them, right? Co-pilot, chat GPT, they will make serious mistakes when it comes to money. And so I can ask them questions, I play with them, and I try to trick them, and then I correct them, and then I ask the question again, and again, they give me the wrong answer. So it's very dangerous for somebody like me to rely on an AI to give me the information that I really, really need.
And a growing number of AI savvy accountants are automating of AI savvy accountants are automating of AI savvy accountants are automating like big parts of the production like big parts of the production like big parts of the production process. Should they go after the process. Should they go after the process. Should they go after the software bill next? Should you go down software bill next? Should you go down software bill next? Should you go down the list? I think I'll build this. I the list? I think I'll build this. I the list? I think I'll build this. I think I'll build that. Is that worth think I'll build that. Is that worth think I'll build that.
